   Promoting the positive motivated training leading to the successful and trialing of dogs and handlers with an emphasis on Sportsmanship, Honor, Courage, Commitment and Integrity!

   Mission Statement:

The objectives of Greater Washington is to preserve the German Shepherd Dog in accordance  with Breed Standards.

 

Promote humane training methods and support responsible dog ownership and breeding practices.

 

To train dogs for the sport of Schutzhund.

 

The promotion of German Shepherd dogs for the sport of Schutzhund.

 

Support and organize trials for Schutzhund.

 

To interest and educate the public about dogs  in the sport of Schutzhund.
